Decided to test Substack’s new video function and uploaded this poorly made video where I’m trying out a completely new knife for the one knife challenge.
The knife used is the Grimfors Nordic, which worked very well for splitting but not as well for fine carving. I will be back with more info when I’ve tried it out some more. As you noticed at the end of the video, my turn was up!
If you’re wondering I was trying to rough out the shape for a spoon, or a spoon-like utensil in the beginning but soon changed to splitting more firewood instead!
